Can I just put regular poly down myself?

Standard 6-mil poly from a hardware store tears easily, doesn't seal to walls, and lets moisture migrate through seams. 20-mil reinforced barrier sealed to all surfaces is the minimum standard for effective moisture control — the difference in cost is small relative to the difference in performance.

How do I access my crawl space for repairs?

Most Vancouver homes have access hatches in the floor, basement, or exterior. We work entirely from the access point — no structural modifications to enter or exit. We're experienced with the tight crawl spaces common in older East Van and Burnaby homes.

Will I need to do anything after the repair?
